Big Update for Aspirants Appearing for HPCL Recruitment Exam
A lot of students had applied for these posts, and now a major update has been released regarding the exam schedule.
The CBT exam for Junior Executive and Officer posts has been scheduled for 16th August 2025. So if you are one of those students who applied, this is the time to shift your preparation into high gear.
Selection Methodology & Exam Pattern

- Group Task
- Personal Interview
The recruitment is for multiple disciplines, including:
- Junior Executive (Civil, Mechanical, Quality Control)
- Engineering Positions (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical)
CBT Exam Details:
- 85 MCQs on General Aptitude
- 85 MCQs on Technical/Professional Knowledge
- Each question carries 1 mark
- Negative marking of 0.25 marks
- Total time: 150 minutes
Detailed syllabus is provided post-wise and discipline-wise. So, if you applied for Junior Executive Mechanical, you’ll find a separate Mechanical syllabus, and similarly for Civil, Electrical, etc.
